Correct image?[edit]

Hi! I'm probably some kind of Namib day gecko!

@Cwmhiraeth and Pvmoutside: I added this image because I saw the article on WP:DYK, and I like finding images for articles. However, I'm afraid I wouldn't know a Namib day gecko if it bit me (so to speak), and now, a few minutes later, I'm no longer certain that it's correct. It was labeled "Namib Day Gecko (Bradfield's)" where I found it on Flickr, which is why I thought it was a perfectly fine Namib day gecko. But now I see that there is a separate article for Rhoptropus bradfieldi, so maybe it's better for that? Could it be a useful image for both? Pinging main authors of both articles on the assumption that you might know the subject better. --GRuban (talk) 14:42, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for finding the image. Perhaps if I expand the Rhoptropus bradfieldi stub I will find that there are identifying features which clarify which species this is. Meanwhile, let's leave it where it is. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 17:14, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
