Disputed materials
[edit]The majority of the articles linked in the list are based on interpretations by users and lack a cement criteria or reliable source. The tag should be put in the article to inform the reader about it. Pahlevun (talk) 10:52, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- @Mhhossein: , @Sa.vakilian: hi dears . i ping you because say if there is any dispute in this article in your Point of view or not??? I think we need another opinion . i think there is no dispute in this article as an Iranian . i ask you because you are an Iranian . for adding dispute template we need several opposite comments . we dont have any opposite comment except User:Pahlevun, but he add disputing template right now!!!. tnx anyway Amir Muhammad 12:47, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- @AmirMuhammad1: I am disputing the contents based on Wikipedia:Accuracy dispute. Pahlevun (talk) 13:12, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- @Pahlevun: your reason is not enough , cuz you must say your reasons . that can not to be a reason, that is only is a guideline page . you must say what is not true in this article(?) not go and change in the way what you want without any discussion . the result of the discussion is important not just writing your POV and then change and add "cuz im disagree then its not true" its only your point not me not other and you are just "one comment" and one comment dont make dispute. .make?? Amir Muhammad 13:21, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- say me whats wrong in this list article ... what link??????? we must discusss now to get a result to change ... do not any change without any result please .. it not legal..you do it before (without any discussing) and you add disputing template .. but now you are trying do an edit war but this turn you have a smart plan for doing your purpose i think .. please do not .. Amir Muhammad 13:26, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- @AmirMuhammad1: I strongly urge you to get accustomed with Wikipedia's policies like Wikipedia:Verifiability. There are several dubious links in the list, and they are to be challenged one by one without a reliable souce. I bet you cannot find a single source indicating Hokm is a "national symbol", for example. Take the way straight for other unsourced links. Pahlevun (talk) 13:39, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- @Pahlevun: we need strongly third "Neutral" opinion . please wait until that and dont start any edit war . i dont say you are a bad guy or something im saying you must say what is exactly wrong in you opinion ??? what link?? for example Nowruz is an 100% internationally well-known symbol of Iran and the reason is its a different alive New Year celebrating and its a world heritage of Iran and other... please bring a good reason not starting add dispute .. i think you are a extremer guy and you hate any culture except Islamic culture cuz you said adding standard of Imperial is not good?? and i must say Nowruz and a culture base subject may be opposed to religous ut we must be "WP:Neutral" and we can not edit only as a point of a muslim guy .. we can??? Amir Muhammad 13:55, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- then i must say you musnt say like your always right . please stop insulting . i was born in a shia religious family and i dont know what is [[Hokm] ]and i dont want to know. please stop accusations. but im a good citizen and not an extremer (like Ansar-e Hezbollah) who one have not any respect for culture and WP:Neutral. your insulting me .. and making me angry, why??.. you are not on the right way man .. come down please .. .. come down..bye Amir Muhammad 14:02, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- @AmirMuhammad1: Stop removing the tag. This is responsible tagging to inform the reader about the dispute in the content with no reliable source and no clear criteria, as explained above. As WP:MTR states, you cannot remove it because "the issue has not yet been resolved" yet, "there is ongoing activity or discussion related to the template issue" and "you simply disagree with the template". Show some respect to the encyclopedia readers, If you don't want to resolve the dispute. Pahlevun (talk) 15:33, 1 August 2016 (UTC)

A request for help: I've corrected a typo, but lack the knowledge to correct the associated formatting error
[edit]As stated in my edit summary: I've corrected the spelling of mythical in the heading "Mythical creatures", where an inadvertent exchange of vowels led to the typo "Mithycal creatures".
Ordinarily, this would be a minor edit, but I noticed also that the formatting of this subheading isn't quite right. Mythical creatures appears between Mythical people and Games in the body of the section Cultural heritage, but it does not appear in the list of subsections in the Contents navigational pane at the top of the page.
I'm relatively inexperienced on Wikipedia, and my edits are typically limited to relatively unobtrusive proof-reading and copy-editing tasks. I don't have a strong enough grasp of formatting standards to make Mythical creatures appear between the other subheadings. For that reason, I would be grateful for the input of a more experienced editor who can either make the necessary change, or set me on the path to learning to do so myself.
