GA review (see here for criteria)

This article needs some work in order for me to consider this as a GA.

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
The prose is very messy, for example: You use "meets" many times in the description, try "intersects"; "oute 83 was originally legislated as a part of Route 49 in 1927", what does legislated mean?
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
My greatest concern is the prose, so I am putting the article on hold. ~~ ComputerGuy 22:16, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have gone back and made the suggested changes. Dough4872 (talk) 02:25, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, to pass it, get a map in SVG form. ~~ ComputerGuy 23:11, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have put in a request for a map at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Maps task force/Requests and I am still waiting. Dough4872 (talk) 02:25, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It has been almost 2 weeks, no map, failed. ~~ ComputerGuy 20:08, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article should not have been failed due to lack of a map. Articles are passed or failed according to the good article criteria, and in addition, there is nothing the nominator could have done to create a map. –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 20:34, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay then, still on hold. ~~ ComputerGuy 20:56, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The article has a map now Dough4872 (talk) 15:36, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is now a GA. PASS ~~ ComputerGuy 00:26, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

USRD GA audit

[edit]

This article has failed the USRD GA audit and will be sent to WP:GAR if the issues are not resolved within one week. Please see WT:USRD for more details, and please ask me if you have any questions as to why this article failed. --Rschen7754 (T C) 04:23, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is this because of the repetition in the route description? I'm a bit confused... –Juliancolton | Talk 04:28, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I see.  Done. –Juliancolton | Talk 04:37, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
