MDS Metro Labs[edit]

There's also MDS Metro Labs in Burnaby, BC, which became MDS Diagnostic Services, which became LifeLabs.

Strategic Repositioning of MDS Inc.[edit]

I am an employee of MDS Nordion and, in respect of Wikipedia's policies regarding conflict of interest and neutral point of view, simply submit the following updates for the community to incorporate as appropriate.

MDS recently completed a strategic repositioning which saw the Company divest its MDS Analytical Technologies and MDS Pharma Services businesses. The company is now focused on MDS Nordion, which is a leading provider of innovative technologies for use in medical imaging and radiotherapeutics, and sterilization technologies.

Also, shareholders of MDS Inc. have approved a change of name from MDS Inc. to Nordion Inc. The company anticipates that the name change will be finalized in Q4 2010.

Based on the above, the MDS Inc. page as it stands is in need of an update. It also seems appropriate that a new article/stub should then be created for Nordion.

Thank you for declaring your conflict of interest. Please feel free to update this page to make it more accurate. So long as this statement remains on this page, the Wikipedia community is contented upon an assumption of good faith on your part to make the necessary changes yourself so long as your edits are neutral. -- œ 22:29, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
