[edit]A picture of the sign "No food, gas, phone, services north of this point" (not the exact wording) would be a good addition to the article...if someone cares to drive up and take one. --Jnik (talk) 03:56, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Decommissioning
[edit]Before they decommissioned Highway 808, they could have called this the NORTH - Northern Ontario Resource Trail Highway. GBC (talk) 20:18, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- 'Trail Highway' is redundant and hypotheticals aren't the best use of talk pages. vıdıoman 22:13, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Error in Name
[edit]I believe the name is in error, as these roads grew out of the Northern Ontario Resources Transportation Committee (NORTC), which funded the construction of these roads in the 1970s. Thus the "T" stands for Transportation, not Trail, and they are properly called NORT Roads. (Google Maps calls the Pickle Lake Road the Nord Road.) SamTuricB3 (talk) 22:32, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
