Peer Edits

[edit]

I just finished read your article and I have to say you guys are off to a great start. You article is very informative and has a very nicely developed flow to it. It has a lot of the already important information however, there can always be more, this topic is quite diverse so don't be afraid to explore it. I also edited some very minor spelling errors in the background section of the article. I also added some missed links. There really is not much more to be said about the page. This article is one of the best i've seen so far, keep up the good work guys. Evo mather (talk) 15:40, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New Update to Page

[edit]

We are in the final stretch of our assignment, which means we will be posting large sections we have been working on into the article. By the end of this morning we will hopefully have our new implementation section posted along with government and first nation perspective uploaded. To follow will be supporting paragraphs that will touch upon language and other subjects Feedback is always welcomed APRenaud (talk) 13:04, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Numbered Treaties

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Numbered Treaties's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named ":0":

  • From Big Bear: Allard, Jean (2002). "Big Bear's treaty: The road to freedom". Inroads.
  • From First Nations: Kirmayer, Laurence J. (March 1994). "Suicide Among Canadian Aboriginal Peoples". Transcultural Psychiatric Research Review. doi:10.1177/136346159403100101. Retrieved 2014-12-14.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 17:20, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Powasson, Powassom, Powassin ???

[edit]

Under "Language" it talks about Chief Powasson, but the source says Chief Powassom. And in the graphic at the top it says Chief Powassin. If you press ctrl+f and search for 'powass', there are three different results.
