Is the lisp history section necersarry?

[edit]

Nyquist is not even on the history section and doesn't mention its relationship to other lisps. I think it should be removed.

Is Nyquist free software?

[edit]

Nyquist is listed on free audio software, but I can't find information on their website to say whether it is indeed free software or not. Can someone provide a link saying which free software licence it is distributed under, if it is free software? Thanks. Gronky 20:20, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the license: http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/n/nyquist/nyquist_2.29-6/nyquist.copyright - Fuelbottle 21:38, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Might we add a link to Harry Nyquist, assuming he is the person nyquist is named for? Eschewsurplusage 21:50, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Is this related to the Nyquist–Shannon sampling theorem? Perhaps the article should address this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.192.21.80 (talk) 19:16, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
