Birth and death[edit]

The U.S. Army Register, p. 829, U.S. Government Printing Office, from 1938 lists Moon's death as November 19. The November 21 New York Times obit says "died yesterday" which I judge as less precise. Alcohol-related death[edit]

Major General Eubank said that Moon drank himself to death. No wonder I found it so hard to figure out how he died! In the 1930s, very little would have been written about one's drinking problems. Binksternet (talk) 16:25, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
