[edit]"Ohm Krüger was one of a number of anti-British propaganda feature films produced by the Nazis during the war, most of which focused on the theme of colonialism to demonstrate through Britain's history the true nature of the British character."
That statement itself is propagandistic and factually incorrect. "The Nazis" didn't produce that film, Emil Jannings, who wasn't a member of the NSDAP, did. --196.215.196.54 (talk) 17:41, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
- The film was produced under the auspices of Joseph Goebbels. Jannings was banned from further filmaking post-war because of his association with Nazi propaganda films such as this. The film is prominently covered in reliable sources examining Nazi propaganda film such as - Welch, David. Propaganda and the German Cinema, 1933-1945. There doesn't seem to be any basis in denying it being either "Nazi" or "propaganda". It is in fact considered a classic example of it.Lord Cornwallis (talk) 01:46, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- So because a regime itself dictatorial in nature (military-occupation) banning Jannings from working in his chosen profession serves you to prove your point? You must be kidding. --154.69.29.54 (talk) 01:16, 8 April 2017 (UTC)
