Move to new name of Nusantara Satu or make into company article named PT Pasifik Satelit Nusantara?

[edit]

[1] shows name as "Satellite Name : Nusantara Satu/PSN VI" which I take to mean Nusantara Satu (formerly known as PSN VI). Satu seems to translate as 'One', so there are a few options here. What does anyone think? crandles (talk) 22:45, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It does seem like an alternate name [2], but by far, the common name is PSN 6. Typing "Nusantara Satu" in my web browser brings up some references but in Indonesian language. I would say to include its alternate name in between parenthesis, but not move the page name. I don't feel strongly either way. Cheers, Rowan Forest (talk) 01:08, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm. If it is recent name change then there will be more historic use of PSN 6 than of new name so not sure I trust that reasoning. Anyway may make sense to wait until nearer launch and see if new name is used more.

https://psn.co.id/why_psn/ contains milestones that could be used to create potted history of the company if we wanted to make article about company with details of the satellite within it. crandles (talk) 14:09, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Press Kit [3] is titled Nusantara Satu Mission. I think I favour moving article to PT Pasifik Satelit Nusantara and make article about company and include details of the Nusantara Satu satellite within it. Any objections? crandles (talk) 16:01, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
