BBC report on film should not be deleted
[edit]BBC News reported details of the film and criticism from different area specially Afghanistan. So the report cannot be deleted only if some admin cannot open the link. The link should be open from different admin users or from different area. (talk) 14:28, 12 Dec 2019 (UTC)
- If this is the link you refer to, then the entire first paragraph of the content you added remains original research since it is found nowhere in the source. DeluxeVegan (talk) 10:40, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
The main purpose of the paragraph is that many people in Afghanistan are not happy as their national hero is not portrayed in his real form and history has been twisted. So BBC News reported that which is authentic reference for criticism at least. And moreover, more references will be added from Local Afghan News plus Govt. official websites including Ministry of Interior which criticized the film. So criticism cannot be deleted for controversial history movies.(talk) 7:44, 17 Dec 2019 (UTC)
Modi influence
[edit]I'm not participating in a dispute, but I'm opening a discussion so that the details can be smoothed out. Here, Hasan.2526272829 added content that later got refined by Fylindfotberserk to the effect of:
Critics links the rising number of Bollywood films with negative Muslim characters such as the portrayal of Alauddin Khilji as a cruel and vicious ruler in the film Padmaavat, as an attempt by the industry executives to align with India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, a Hindu nationalist party led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This was ultimately removed by Cradlecog, who mislabeled their removal as a minor edit here. Clearly not a minor edit, I think this should be discussed by the interested parties. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:08, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- Content referenced from a reliable source should be kept IMO. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 07:58, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
