Should it be “Parliament House, Western Australia”?

[edit]

This building, called Parliament House, houses the parliament of the state of Western Australia. It is situated in West Perth, a suburb of Perth. Is any of that incorrect?

If not, would it be better to call this article “Parliament House, Western Australia”? Betterkeks (talk) 09:34, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

good question - the probable self identification at the website is your suggested change - see http://www.parliament.wa.gov.au/intranet/libpages.nsf/All/FF4B10FA7DCF82B0482580D1000E0503?OpenDocument. JarrahTree 09:47, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No need in my book. "Building, State" is a silly disambiguation style (and not used at that link either), jumping from the very specific to the very broad for no apparent reason. "Parliament House of Western Australia" is unnecessarily formal and branding prone to change on a whim. It is called Parliament House. It is in Perth. Just as with our articles on Parliament House, Sydney, Parliament House, Melbourne, Parliament House, Hobart, Parliament House, Adelaide, Parliament House, Brisbane, Parliament House, Canberra, etc. The Drover's Wife (talk) 10:17, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
youre hopeful prone to change on a whim - I thought that was the whole of wikipedia. The answer from Drovers suggest we leave well alone, unless some bright spark chooses to change the whole series. JarrahTree 10:43, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
