I lived in Van Nuys from 1953 - 1968, and while in High School we'd go to a nightclub up on Ventura Blvd then called 'The Peppermint Stick' - it was THE place to go dance during that period, and the live band during those years was 'Pat and Lolly Vegas' - yet that is not represented here.
