Debate?[edit]

...much debate occurs over which is the superior biscuit

Does it? I don't know whether Penguins are sold in Australia, but until Tesco started importing them to Britain I'd never even seen a Tim Tam, and certainly never heard discussion about their relative merits. Loganberry (Talk) 10:04, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have exactly the same experience from the other angle. I live in Australia. I don't particularly care for Tim Tams personally, but to a huge number of Aussies they are the supreme chocolate biscuit. This is the first time I have ever heard of Penguin biscuits. They have no place in the antipodean culinary lexicon. But my appetite has definitely been whetted.
I think the article needs to say just where all this debate is happening. JackofOz 12:36, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It seems to be happening in this Talk page! As it happens, though, I bought some Tim Tams the other day (original flavour), and my first impressions are that they're quite a bit crunchier than the more crumbly Penguins, and also lighter - maybe better for a hotter climate! In terms of taste I think they're about as good as each other. Loganberry (Talk) 01:08, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Picture, anyone?[edit]

I personally know what they look like, but not everyone does... vLaDsINgEr 04:22, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Current Penguin Biscuit Brand.jpg[edit]

Image:Current Penguin Biscuit Brand.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
