"a sniper attack on a British Army PVC"?

[edit]

What's a PVC in this context? I (English) have absolutely no idea, and the PVC (disambiguation) page doesn't help. I'd suggest it needs either explaining in the text or a suitable wikilink. 86.130.98.77 (talk) 01:08, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bus Éireann Service for Pettigo

[edit]

I checked the Bus Éireann Timetables and Routes and saw that the No. 30 bus does no longer go through Pettigo. Can this information please be checked again and updated?--Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 09:21, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced Section - People

[edit]

This section has an unreferenced tag. It is not more than a list of people with links to the relevant articles. Does anything like that really needs sources? I think not, as one mouseclick brings you to the article, and there you should find the information (with sources, I hope). In cases like this the tag inflates the article unnecessarily (and anyway: nobody seems to give a damn about it, as it was included ten years ago without any consequence). I think these tags would be taken more serious, if they were used only in cases were they are really necessary and not just strewn in abundance in nearly every article.--Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 09:55, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
