Biased
[edit]The articles on the Philippines Benevolent Missionary Association and on Ruben Este are each self-evidently composed by extremely biased and committed followers of the PBMA and of Esteo. The article on Este, for instance, uncritically recounts his claims to spiritual experiences beginning at a very young age.
Such claims, in other recent spiritual leaders or founders, typically are not couched in such terms, and equal weight is usually given to evidence suggesting something other than supernatural events actually took place.
The articles need to be researched and rounded-out to include information which believers might find critical but which accurately represent the organization. The article does not need to be overtly hostile, but it should not pass as an unbiased general encyclopedia if it is in fact essentially a recruitment tract.
I note that the organization is under interdict by the Roman Catholic Church of the Philippines, for example. No clear reason as to why the RCC hierarchy in the Philippines would take such measures. Most would find this detail important, given that the RCC is a dominant religious force in the Philippine Islands.
Hopefully, good and thoughtful people will step up and make the articles on this subject more informative and well-rounded.
Do not judge others or else you will be judge according to the measure you have used upon judging someone!
[edit]The image of PBMA Inc. was distorted by the envy and jealousy of other persons other than the tails of the devil! Who are you to judge other people? Save you own selves, before judging someone judge your self first! How dare you judge others making a page with bias. The next i can read judging articles i will delete them all. I have the right to erase and to eliminate any distorting force exerted upon us! Satan or Saitan means Opposer then by opposing PBMA Inc. you became Satan to us! We will eliminate Satan and His tails! Just think of these: Many envied us, many are jealous! They framed up the Prime Minister, my uncle is one of the personal friend of the Prime Minister. He was innocent, the killing incident in Cebu was not His, He was at Dinagat Islands at that time, when he heard the news that his wife Alona Bacolod who was schooling at that time supported by the Prime Minister they went to Cebu by plane, upon arrival at Cebu City, He had never carried his bag anymore. Everything was a mess then. All was blamed upon him; Shabu in the car and many more. That's the result of envy.
Regarding the issue of graft and corruptions by the Prime Minister; The persons who corrupted the money were all gone and the Prime Minister was left all alone. Don't you know that He help so many scholars?, he has many projects behind cameras and not for publications? He is not a showy person. He is just humble and just keep quite, though it was painful for Him he accepted the punishment which was not due for Him. His salary for being a Mayor in San Jose, Dinagat Islands was given to the needy. He help the members not only by material, financial matters but also spiritual matters. You really have to be near Him to know him better and the truth. Never talk without knowing the truth instead. You just believed what others say but you never know the truth.
They really wanted to attack the Prime Minister so that the group will vanish. Because groups and religions wanted many members may be for money cause. But it is better to have only few, those that will never leave whoever you are, in good times and in bad times. Show me a religion or a group that will keep you in your bad times, the time when you are called evil? demon? witch? cult? ignorant? disobedient? I think no group or religion would dare to hold you for that cases instead they will cast you away, "matiwalag ka! for sure!"
If you judge the Prime Minister of PBMA Inc. then you are the same persons who judged the prophets, the messengers and even the Son of the Holy Almighty One in the past. Now is the Past's Future. What you did in the past then you will also do in the future. That's your nature of spirit. Does your religion or group never taught you about the danger of judging of others?... then please put it in your mind! Gracias! As-Sallamuh Alaykum! 6th Judge Inhibits
[edit]I had to edit this to let the readers know what is happening to the more important case, parricide. Since 2004, there was no development due to series of inhibitions of judges. Ecleo faces the parricide case before the Cebu City Regional Trial Court, Branch 23. However, the case dragged because 6 judges inhibited. On April 25, 2008, 6th Judge Geraldine Faith Econg per 24-page resolution inhibited herself amid accusations and her own admission that 2 women approached her to ask how much would she need in payment for dropping the case.[1] --Florentino floro (talk) 06:32, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Conviction affirmed, bail cancelled
[edit]The Court on June 13, 2008 affirmed the October 13, 2006 3 graft convictions against Ecleo, Jr., and 3 of his former subordinates. Accordingly, his bail would now be considered cancelled..abs-cbnnews.com, Sandiganbayan affirms Ecleo's graft conviction--Florentino floro (talk) 10:23, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Do not judge them..Be positive..
[edit]I had to edit on this page to let the readers know that PBMA is not a cult. This is a association where in all people is helping to each other. Maybe there are some people using the popularity name of PBMA in not good interest so that other people conclude that this association is a cult. There is a says, don't judge the book by its cover, if you are the one judging by a lot of people can you justify your self. As what happened to Jesus, no one believes in him until the day of his death. No one can say if they a cult because no one has a right to judge everything. Learn, study, search, no one can te the truth behind of it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.127.183.137 (talk) 14:08, 17 September 2008 (UTC) I had to edit on this page to let the readers knoe that PBMA is healing process. as you may know some people can not see or feel. it means that god is touching us and telling us what we should do for a good way and not a bad way. I had to edit on this page to let the readers know that PBMA is not a cult. If they are cult it means they are follower of GOD. I have read some books saying that cult is a group of GOD's follower. I dont remember the book but it says that a cult is a good follower of GOD. They can sacrifice everything, can follow and respect whoever God is. For me, as what I have research this is an association where in all people is helping to each other. Maybe there are some people using the popularity name of PBMA in not good interest so that people damaged by user member conclude that this association is a cult. There is a says, don't judge the book by its cover, if someone judge you by a lot of people can you justify your self. As what happened to Jesus, no one believes in him until the day of his death. Poncious Pilate asked peoople, if barabas or Jesus. People choose barabas instead of Jesus. After all what Jesus did to His followers people choose barabas and let it happen it to Jesus. No one can say if they a cult because no one has a right to judge everything. Learn, study, search, no one can te the truth behind of it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.127.183.137 (talk) 14:28, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Need for recent news and more references
[edit]Anyone got recent updates on Ecleo and more references regarding the dynamics and beliefs of this organization? (i.e. religious pratices, dogma..) Needsmorehotsauce (talk) 22:32, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
"...the PBMA has virtually turned the entire island into a fiefdom of the Ecleos." - statements like are biased without proper support and references Needsmorehotsauce (talk) 22:35, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
Please tag this as bias
[edit]This is not the same work that it supposed to be. The other Article where it is merged was the right and neutral one. Please revide this and this is tagged as bias. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Metanoia Antoine (talk • contribs) 21:55, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
