Photoalbation

[edit]

Merged to laser ablation in 2018

photoablation isn't just for refractive surgery- so why does looking for it always redirect me to refractive surgery? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.192.250.143 (talk) 11:28, 23 January 2012‎ (UTC)[reply]

There was an article, but it was deleted due to copyright violations. I see that it shouldn't be refractive surgery I'll change the redirect to the section Laser eye surgery of the article Eye surgery. Richard-of-Earth (talk) 12:30, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, after looking at it, the article on Laser surgery is better. Richard-of-Earth (talk) 12:42, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think there should be separate article on photoabltion.Because it is not just about laser surgery but technique involved in refractive surgery.so don't redirect this article to laser surgery .i also deleted copyright content. Please improve this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jnanadevm (talkcontribs) 06:59, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a overlap to Laser ablation? --131.188.135.118 (talk) 15:30, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Photoablation (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) currently redirects to laser ablation. It occurs to me, this shouldn't be the case. There are many types of light ablation unrelated to lasers, such as the creation of the coma of comets, the process of photoetching. I acknowledge that the old underlying article at "photoablation" was just a laser ablation article, but the term itself isn't so restrictive. -- 65.92.247.17 (talk) 14:01, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
