Tacos and Tacos Al Pastor

[edit]

I have to dissent with tacos, let alone tacos al pastor, being included in the list here. Tacos al pastor in particular because it is a taco whose main ingredient is a particular kind of meat (much like tacos carne asada, tacos birria, tacos sesos, tacos pollo, etc - its name is derived from the filling). Thing is, a taco can pretty much have whatever in it, but it won't be a taco al pastor if it doesn't have carnitas al pastor in it.

As for tacos unto themselves, it's closer to a wrap than a pocket - and even that's a bit off. I figure this - if you're going to include tacos al pastor, you might as well go with the whole enchilada and just put tacos in there, and leave it at that. --Dennis The Tiger 02:05, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
