Orphaned references in Politics of Guinea

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Politics of Guinea's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "AFP":

  • From 2008 Guinean coup d'état: "Guinea's long-time military leader Conte dies". Google News. Agence France-Presse. 2008-12-23. Retrieved 2008-12-23.
  • From Lansana Conté: "Guinea's long-time military leader Conte dies", AFP, 23 December 2008.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 05:51, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Important notice

[edit]

The government section of the "Outline of Guinea" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.

When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.

Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact The Transhumanist .

Thank you.
