Proposed Changes
[edit]I just wanted to add a section where we can discuss and jot down some notes on the proposed changes Brandnewgummybear (talk) 02:46, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
- (1***): I think the caption looks good---the only thing I can see us adding would be a mention of how intricate the carvings are cause Holley mentioned that was a bit unusual for wood as a medium.
- (2***): agreed!
- (3***): I think the 2nd paragraph has a good detail about the symmetry if we can get a citation for that so I would add that into the first. Also the secondary pattern part as well. Maybe put those details into the first and that's our visual description?
- (4***) I think the dissertation says this but I would assume it also could be found on the wikipedia article about the fatimids
- (5***) Dissertation :)
- (6***) not sure on that myself
- (7***) that citation sounds okay to me! If you don't wanna say "conducting services" maybe you can just say "prayer" if you mean religious services?
- (8***) I have the O'kane one! Brandnewgummybear (talk) 03:00, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
General comment
[edit]Just a general comment to congratulate the creators on their great work here. I've made one or two adjustments, and I think there's a couple of other generally superficial things to reorganize or adjust for a more standard Wikipedia style, but this is a welcome addition. If there are any further questions about formatting or style questions that I can help with (or questions about any changes I make), feel free to ask. R Prazeres (talk) 19:12, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
