I work in Portland Square so I'd be interested in expanding this piece a bit. There's a couple of things that could be added:
- [1], a company a that trains circus and physical theatre performers, is based out of St Paul's Church on the North side of the square.
- [2], a wine bar, nice food too.
- Oh and yes, the prostitutes! Portland square and its neighbour Brynland Square are well known curb crawling areas.

- Feel free to expand (but obviously without direct advertising for the cafe) - I think Circomedia may well be worth it's own article. If you need any help just let me know or ask at the Wikipedia:WikiProject Bristol. — Rod talk 12:36, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- With regard to the prostitutes, remember WP:NOR: you would need citations. William Avery 19:49, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
