Who's next?

[edit]

Since this pretender and his wife have a 7 yo daughter but no son, under France's Salic Law for succession, the claim to the throne of France cannot be passed along to her, direct Capetian descent from both parents notwithstanding. I've got no clue who'd be next up in queue if this new Charles & Di fail to produce a son. But shouldn't it be briefly mentioned which Orleanist male picks up the torch & runs round in circles with it after Charlot cocks up his toes? ScarletRibbons (talk) 14:08, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The article states that he is followed in the line of succession by François d'Orléans. Line of succession to the French throne (Orléanist) explains that this François is Charles Philippe's brother. Surtsicna (talk) 14:56, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
