Mortal sin?

If abortion is deemed to be a mortal sin by the Church, how can abortionists/aborters ever reconcile with the institution if they are put on the same level as lowly murderers and rapists ? How can/does Project Rachel deal with that ? ADM (talk) 00:52, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I suppose the answer is that murderers and rapists can be forgiven too. See, a mortal sin, according to the beliefs of Roman Catholicism, and some Protestant denominations, is a sin that, unless confessed and absolved (or at least sacramental confession is willed if not available), condemns a person's soul to Hell after death. --Againme (talk) 05:35, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
