Too personal?

[edit]

The usage of words such as "we" are too personal for my liking and not encyclopedic in nature. This article should have a more impersonal feel to it. Any comments? --Siva1979Talk to me 09:48, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure the body text is gleaned from the Boro website, or summat like that. I would rewrite, except I'm busy with exams and I don't know that much about the team -- Boothman 17:45, 9 May 2006 (UTC).[reply]
Couldn't agree more, it looks more like a fanzine article than a encyclopedia article. I've made a lot of changes to alter the point of view from "we" to the third party, but there's an awful lot of stuff in there that just ought to be deleted. As the article stands it's almost impossible to see the wood for the trees. ---- Eric 22:20, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:BoroBadge.jpg

[edit]

Image:BoroBadge.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Recent season history

[edit]

An IP has been removing recent season history under the rationale that it is not necessary. The article is already tagged as being slanted towards recent events, perhaps these sections need reducing and older history being introduced, but this does not mean they should be removed. A more pressing concern which needs to be addressed is the chatty style noted in the discussion above and the lack of references. Fenix down (talk) 10:52, 2 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ground

[edit]

The article mentions Radcliffe play at Stainton Park, but in the box it says Neuven Stadium. Are these one and the same? Any elaboration possible by someone who knows? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:A03F:656F:9100:4160:8ADE:F5BE:1521 (talk) 12:37, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
