Name Pronunciation
[edit]If someone could write out one of those phonetic pronunciation guides for his name at the beginning of the article, it would probably help a lot of people trying to learn his name and find his CDs. I know it's basically "Ra-FAL Blay-HOCH," but don't know the proper way of annotating that. Keithustus (talk) 14:29, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- Done And in case of other Polish names, the link of choice is Wikipedia:IPA for Polish. --Kubanczyk (talk) 16:05, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
The way i would pronounce it - Ble(like in "ble-nd")-chacz(hatch)=Blehatch 77.253.164.177 (talk) 13:56, 6 March 2009 (UTC)\
- The first syllable's fine, but the ch (not the cz) should be as in "Bach, as should the a. (The accent should be on the penultimate syllable, as it almost always is in Polish.) The barred l in his first name is pronounced like a w. It's approximately "RAH-fahw BLE-chahtch." Kostaki mou (talk) 21:08, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
Discography
[edit]The CD containing Chopin's "Preludes" was not actually his first recording. There is an earlier CD with pieces composed by Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Debussy and Szymanowski- this was made for Polish recording label CD Accord and it is not (probably) avaliable otside Poland.
- Good point, er, whoever wrote that. I've dug up the CD Accord website and added it. Danny Sepley (talk) 05:19, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
