@SheriffIsInTown: During the recounting process of the votes, this guy has been declared defeated. Hence, WP:POLITICIAN no longer applies in this case unless ihe meets GNG (yet to check) or if he's been a lawmaker before which I also haven't checked yet. And this is the precise reason why I initiated this AFD. However, my editing was questioned. I think you need to re-check who else has been declared defeated in the recount process or by court or ECP after their initial victory. Saqib (talk) 10:47, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The manner in which you initiated the AFD seemed questionable and indicative of your battleground behavior, seemingly stemming from your frustration with my opposing edits on the 2024 Pakistani general election page. You submitted 29 articles I had created to AFD all at once, while you yourself had created hundreds of articles on the last Election Day, July 25, 2018. I believe this approach is not conducive to collaborative editing, and I was quite taken aback by it. Regarding the article in question, perhaps now is an appropriate time for its deletion. Well, I must apologize then if I offended you at any point. But you also indirectly implied on election talk pg maybe that I'm biased in favor of PTI, which I assure you is not the case. I don't have any specific agenda or POV. everyone has their own perspectives, which can sometimes lead to misunderstandings. --Saqib (talk) 11:43, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I attempted to PROD it, but the tag got removed. From my perspective, failing to win the election in a recount, even if they've taken the oath, doesn't make them eligible as an MNA; it's essentially considered a loss from the outset. You could try AFDing it, but I might choose to abstain from voting. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 14:55, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
