There is a lot of stuff on him on the net, in connection with an exhibition. It seems there will be a book on him this spring "The Artist Himself, by Patrick Rosenkranz.
In Mark Estren's book "A History of Underground Comics" (Google Books) Holmes is quoted as saying that he did not see an EC Comic until he was well grown up, which contradicts some sources. But the sources seem to like to differ a lot on him. To add to the article: Holmes also did publish in the Vancouver Sun, in Greatful Dead Comics, #2 and in Confessions of a Cereal Eater. Perhaps one should add a word about his Pacific Comics work. Holmes was very popular in Germany, U-Comics has printed and reprinted everything it seems (see also fr WP).--Radh (talk) 21:40, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
