Early Life - BBC disagrees with information presented here
[edit]According to the BBC, the version of Harris's early life given here is fictional. He covered up the fact that he was born to a single mother. The BBC article is written by Robert Dineen, author of a biography of Harris: Reg Harris: The Rise and Fall of Britain's Greatest Cyclist (see it at Amazon)).
