Is "Increasingly fewer Spaniards are Catholic, and they also are increasingly practitioners." correct, or should it be "Increasingly fewer Spaniards are Catholic, and there are also less practitioners." Jihadist attack killing 14 and injuring at least 100, Islamic State, 17 August 2017
On 17 August 2017, a van was driven into pedestrians on La Rambla in the city, killing 14 and injuring at least 100. Other attacks took place elsewhere in Catalonia. The Prime Minister of Spain, Mariano Rajoy, called the attack in Barcelona a jihadist attack. Amaq News Agency attributed indirect responsibility for the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
