This article was the subject of an educational assignment in Spring 2015. Further details were available on the "Education Program:University of Ontario Institute of Technology/Critical Race Theory (Winter 2015)" page, which is now unavailable on the wiki.

Neutrality[edit]

Main article Racial segregation cautions that "the voluntary act of separating oneself from other persons on the basis of one of the enumerated grounds does not constitute segregation." Yet this article is so named and makes consistent use of the term, while stating that the choices of where one lives in Vancouver are often voluntary. Furthermore it states that "Segregation may be due both to voluntary and involuntary causes,[9]so racial segregation is not necessarily due to racism." Yet again, as stated in the main article this is not is not our accepted definition of "racial segregation." Shawn in Montreal (talk) 01:48, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the sources, "residential segregation" is used, and is perhaps more appropriate to Vancouver than the current term. The Interior (Talk) 15:37, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

SSCI 2831[edit]

This article was the subject of an educational assignment in Spring 2015. Further details were available on the "Education Program:University of Ontario Institute of Technology/Critical Race Theory (Winter 2015)" page, which is now unavailable on the wiki.

This article has issues of neutrality. I will work to rewrite it in an encyclopedic style, while also cleaning up the article to meet Wikipedia's quality standards.
