Arbitrary editing has diminished this information

[edit]

The editing that separated out personal rewilding and put it into a new page of Rewilding Anarchism has been done very arbitrarily since it took with it three external links that are not about personal rewildling, but about rewilding landscapes eg Self-willed land, Wildland Network and The Rewilding Institute. I don’t think Dave Foreman of the TRI would necessarily appreciate this, and as the author of Self-willed land and a member of the co-ordinating group of the Wildland Network, I would say that I am pretty underwhelmed. I have made this point also on the Rewilding page, that now seems to have some arbitrary redefinition of rewilding as being only applicable in circumstances where animals bred in captivity are rewilded before release. Again, I don’t think Dave Foreman would recognise this as a universal or prime definition.--Self willed (talk) 19:02, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. Would you like to move the refs to the correct place? Richard New Forest (talk) 17:47, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Its own grassroots movement

[edit]

Rewilding doesnt necessarily follow the school of anarchism in any way. At least it made it to wikipedia though. 1arkspur (talk) 14:32, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?

[edit]

If there isn't significant coverage in reliable, secondary sources about rewilding in particular, it would make sense to merge such content into one of the existing articles for which the concept is fundamental, i.e., into anarcho-primitivism. czar 12:52, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
