What's the pronunciation supposed to be? kwami (talk) 09:02, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Having lived locally for some 25 years, I have always understood it to be "Ringle-" (as in 'jingle' or 'tingle') and "-stone" (usual pronunciation). I put the IPA formulation together but I'm not a linguist so am happy to be corrected. Dick G (talk) 01:19, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think the IPA was fine, but it didn't match the sound-alike transcription, so I thought maybe there was something unusual going on. kwami (talk) 01:26, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This place is in the Domesday Book and there is some other coverage so I don't think this should be merged. Crouch, Swale (talk) 11:08, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Closed with no merge given this objection and no case for. Klbrain (talk) 13:30, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
