[edit]Although the subject of the article was influential and certainly merits an entry, the article reads like a hagiographic obituary published in an alumni magazine rather than an encyclopedia article. It needs to be reworked and rewritten from a neutral point of view.
Timeline at Harvard
[edit]This article lists degrees taken from Harvard in 1954 (STB) and 1970 (PhD), with no references cited. There is also a mention of Harvard earlier in the article that is undated. These mentions are difficult to reconcile with the statement in the Tom Lehrer article, which says that Lehrer graduated Harvard in 1946, and was Crouse's roommate. The Lehrer claim is backed by this reference: Burton, Anthony (Easter 2011). "In Memoriam: The Revd. Dr. Robert Crouse" (PDF). The Prayer Book Society of Canada Newsletter. p. 1. Archived from the original (PDF) on August 24, 2016. Retrieved October 22, 2020.. How could Crouse have been at Harvard prior to 1946? Perhaps that memorial is in error?
