[edit]

The paragraph "His claims that marijuana is ... before it starts" is original research that defends Dr. DuPont from the criticism of being at odds with the scientific establishment.

Furthermore, the paragraph talking about Straight, Incorporated, brushes off allegations of the organization's abusive behavior by pointing to uncited support from Nancy Reagan and Princess Diana. First, if the allegations are false, then they should not be included. Second, the allegations are notable, and should therefore be mentioned if properly attributed. Finally, celebrity endorsement does not provide evidence to disbelieve these allegations.

Also, repeated mention is made of the Institute for Behavior and Health, an organization founded by Dr. DuPont, but all references point to the organization's webpage, and not to reputable third-party sources.

Because of these three reasons, I believe that the article sacrifices a neutral point of view.

I've reorganized the article to resemble an encyclopedia article, removing some of the blatant boosterism and the celebrity endorsements. Issues remain. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 20:27, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
