Defection[edit]

Is this a defection? An overseas contractor asking about staying on in-country is normally seen as a defection. Why was he treated as a alien on his return to the USA? Had he renounced his US citizenship?Royalcourtier (talk) 04:20, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article says he filled in a "Affidavit for Expatriated Person" person form, which I believe relates to the renunciation of citizenship. Podiaebba (talk) 22:50, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
