In a previous version the whole article was sourced to the Dictionary of National Biography, when in fact only part of it was plagiarized from there. That and the plagiarism from Princeton University's graphic arts blog have been removed, and what remains is not supported by the Dictionary of National Biography at all. I suspect that it's plagiarized from one or more offline sources. Lagrange613 16:58, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
