Free school meals
[edit]A user hopping across IP addresses is re-adding the material regarding a vote against free school meals. We don't need to list individual votes here, unless they're deemed to be notable, which no source is currently justifying. If you wish to include this information please explain your reasoning here; I suspect the insistence on including this info is more an attempt to disparage the subject rather than a belief it is genuinely notable. — Czello 07:28, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
Plagiarism issue/potential conflict of Interest
[edit]Please note that an IP editor made a large edit on this page which contained multiple copy-paste sentences from the subject's speeches and his website. I have removed or reworded these in the career sections but have not yet reviewed the Beliefs and Campaigns sections so there may be more instances there.
The IP editor also removed cited material on the subject's voting record and his previous unsuccessful candidacies, and added comments of "wide praise" for the subject which were not supported by the sources. Given the above, the IP editor appears to have a bias towards the subject. Potentially there may also be a conflict of interest, given the geolocation of the editing IP is within one mile of the publicly stated location of the subject's current Administrative Assistant, but obviously that may be simple coincidence. - I dare you to add something about this to the main article. Just see how long it takes for one of the usual suspects to revert your change as "not relevant". 92.40.217.211 (talk) 13:16, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
- If you look at it now you'll see I've added something :) It might count as "not relevant" just because it's ongoing; it's similar to what was going on with Angela Rayner. Ellwat (talk) 15:26, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
