Official term for new office

[edit]

I am unsure what the official translation of the office he was appointed to is. when I wrote the stub I put "solicitor general" but I'm not sure that is accurate. any assistance regarding this would be appreciated. Philipnelson99 (talk) 18:19, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think you did good to use "solicitor general", as that is the term used in the English ref. I am not sure about attorney general, since I have not seen used it, though it may not be in contradiction. In the further two English refs I have added, respectively use "head of the Treasury's prosecution office" and "head of state lawyers", so we may use these terms in the body. The latter also says: "It is important to highlight what happened, since he will be in charge of the highest body of the State Lawyers Corps [we have an article about it, so it can be wikilinked] and will have as its central axis the fight against anti-Semitism and discrimination. The Daia will be present to ensure their adherence to the law and that this is fulfilled no matter who governs."

My bad, State Lawyers Corps is only limited to Spain, and does not discuss Argentina. Davide King (talk) 18:29, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think for now I will change the the article to say " head of Treasury’s prosecution office". Philipnelson99 (talk) 20:08, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
