Ancestry
[edit]Cochrane is a Scots name but it is also known as an Anglicization of Corcoran, an Irish name. Looking at Rory's name, Rory's siblings' names, all are more commonly Irish given names. Scots-Irish are not typically given Irish Gaelic names. A 9/7/06 Edit by user 151.199.61.158 lists Rory's father as Scots-Irish-American (an earlier edit by same user was listing Rory as Scots-American)offering no proof of it. Previously in Rory's Wiki article and on external website bio's mentioning ancestry, Rory's father was put in as Irish American. I Edited it back to its original listing as it is more in agreement to external bio's. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.239.11.47 (talk) 21:52, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Returned?
[edit]Article states RC returned to the US, but never states where he went (or why). Any ideas? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 153.2.246.33 (talk) 17:17, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Dead?
[edit]Someone I work with said that he died and they had is funeral last night (December 5). Maybe someone who would know could add that or say that he's not. I was told it was an accident involving a gun. Abrynkus 00:10, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- No, I don't think Rory is dead. Rumors spread about Paul McCartney's death too and he is very much alive. Perhaps the person who told you that Rory got shot was referring to the Tim Speedle character on CSI:Miami. Speed was shot and killed while investigating a case in a jewerly store in 2004. The A&E Network, as well as CBS weekends are now rebroadcasting previous episodes of CSI:Miami. The episode in which "Speed" dies is called "Lost Son". It should replay soon... Check your local A&E network for CSI:Miami time schedule. :)
