McManus? MacManus?

[edit]

Looking at Google Books, "Complicated Shadows" does indeed list his birth name as "McManus". But it doesn't allude to any change in spelling, so it's not clear that this isn't just a typo. (You get 600 hits in Google Books for "Declan McManus", his son, but that seems to be incorrect.) Anyone have any sense whether his birth name really was McManus, or whether it was MacManus? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tahnan (talkcontribs) 17:50, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article title

[edit]

What justification is there, under WP:COMMONNAME, for titling this article Ross McManus and not Ross MacManus? Harfarhs (talk) 03:48, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Be-pop / bebop?

[edit]

I've replaced the red-linked be-pop with bebop: I'm assuming this is what was meant, but I'm not an expert on this musical era. ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 14:12, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
