References
[edit]- I can't seem to get the text to highlight, so it links out to other sites. Others have criticized the legitimacy of Sacha Inchi and by providing external references, readers can verify the legitimacy themselves.Djc266 (talk) 15:40, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Common name versus scientific name
[edit]- Can Sacha Inchi be included in the main title for the page, not many people know what sacha inchi is and even fewer know the scientific name. Could it be included in parentheses?Djc266 (talk) 16:29, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's a redir, which means that even if you search for "sacha inchi", you'll be directed here. Pretty much serves the same purpose. Yngvarr 17:24, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Please clarify
[edit]- In the line "Its oil is one of the largest plant sources of the Omega family of fatty acids, an essential for human life. It contains Omega 3 (48%), Omega 6 (36%), Omega 9 (9%), and protein (27%)." the "and protein (27%)" needs to be taken out, as the "It" refers to the oil, adding up all the percentages we see that they are well over 100%, aside from that the mentioning of the protein is redundant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fmoreira (talk • contribs) 17:23, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
At the end of first ¶: "It grows better in acidic soils, frank and alluvial flats near rivers."
Please define the word "frank". Even better if it could be hot-linked the way "alluvial" is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.49.232.222 (talk) 20:16, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
