Airport location[edit]

The airstrip at this location has no roads going to it, only a trail leading eventually to the Apere River. Across the river, on the main road leading out of El Peru del Apere, is an airport with a well-tended 900 metre grass runway and support buildings. OpenStreetMap has this other airport marked as San Carlos Gutierrez. This may be the actual airport.
