[edit]

Rita Municipality, Kanlurang Samar, 96 km galing Catbalogan (Kapital Samar).

—Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.177.247.42 (talk) 01:27, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bridge type

[edit]

I am looking for a reliable source to say what type of bridge that the San Juanico bridge is. It has been identified in the article as an arch, but I think that it may be a truss where the top chord is on a smooth grade and the bottom chord varies the depth of the truss. This would give the bottom an appearance of an arch. The truss action comes because there are diagonal members between the bottom chord and the top chord. - ¢Spender1983 (talk) 05:07, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Possible ref

This might have some info to add to the article. - ¢Spender1983 (talk) 05:28, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

Had to revert fairly obvious (to Filipinos) vandalism on this page. Come on: Juanito Isko Balunbalunan and Rodolfo Tokneneng Jr.? The names added since October 2009 by several IP / unregistered users are all unverifiable. Ronaldo Guevara (talk) 09:57, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Travel by road

[edit]

The article states that one can now travel by land from Manila to Mindanao. Google maps shows two ferry legs in this journey. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.237.150.151 (talk) 13:50, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
