Khushwant Singh's Praise[edit]

I have searched for this praise and only found The power of sycophancy in Deccan Herald, Saturday, January 15, 2005. The other ref in The Tribune - Magazine section - Windows- This Above All indeed refers to The Idler mag edited by Ajay Singh Yadav & his poem on Sycophancy but is that Sanjay Singh Yadav or has there been a typo? (that I doubt as Sanjay Singh Yadav is the author of Tibet, the Lost Treaty A Novel & 2 other books, none of which correspond to Sanjay - Google Books. Seems like a case of identity theft?! I have sympathy for the some of the author's views & see no need for anyone to stretch to sycophancy. It seems someone has made a mistake-if that is me please correct me, otherwise I will go ahead & remove this praise from the article.--DadaNeem (talk) 22:07, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The author of 'Tibet, the Lost Treaty' is Ajay Singh Yadav, Sanjay's brother. Khushwant Singh also published the sycophancy poem in his Hindustan Times column. The poem on sycophancy can also be seen in Sanjay Yadav's book 'Portraits of India', which is accessible through Google books. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.8.129.195 (talk) 12:00, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Khushwant Singh has cited Sanjay Yadav's poems on other occasions too. To see the sycophancy poem in the Hindustan Times, Delhi edition, you have to read the physical paper for the date given. It is also found in the epaper, again for 29 January 2005. These are accessible only through the newspaper's office in New Delhi; the general public may not be able to access them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Htreporter (talkcontribs) 19:04, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notability and sources[edit]

Have tagged with Notability. Unclear what the primary claim to notability is here - as writer, lyricist, politician or researcher. Some sources are self-published or not independent. Tacyarg (talk) 16:39, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
