This article has eight editors, some registered, some as IPs, who have only edited this article. I suggest that the article retain its tagging until it is clear that non-involved editors have substancially added and/or subtracted from the article. @David notMD Most of the recent editing was done by me (without logging in).I suggest the tagging should be removed as the article has now been improvised. Faizanmqs (talk) 13:10, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Faizanmqs, but you only edit this article. Have you read WP:COI?
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. The COI editor is asked to consult with the editors who originally assigned the templates.
Information to be added or removed: Advert and COI flagging to be removed
Explanation of issue: The article has now been edited/improved by registered editors. Hence, both flags/templates can be removed.
Faizanmqs (talk) 05:30, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It is recommended that, as a courtesy, you first try asking the editors who assigned the templates — in this case, Edwardx for the advert template and PureRED for the COI template — in order to find out from them if they can be removed. Since they placed those templates, they are best-positioned to know whether or not the issues which caused their placements have been corrected.
You may contact them by placing new messages on their talk pages. In the unlikely event that you do not hear back from either of them after a reasonable amount of time, please open a new edit request here on this talk page. Thank you! Regards, Spintendo06:41, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Faizanmqs - If you are acknowledging that you have a COI with this article, then your User page should be amended to show that, and the Talk page of the article in question, same. I have added COI templates to the Talk page listing you and the other editors who have edited only this article, and who have attempted to remove the COI templates on the article. Previously, I deleted a lot of promotional content from the article, but still recommend that the Boards section be deleted and the Awards section by reduced by half. Lastly, I am not the editor who assigned the templates on the article. David notMD (talk) 12:33, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, David notMD. I think that only a little more work is needed to remove the advert tag. Bearing in mind the number of COI editors, I think the COI tag should stay regardless. Edwardx (talk) 13:38, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Edwardx PureRED has not edited since April 30, so if you go ahead and trim the article a bit and remove the advert tag, I am comfortable with that. As for the article's COI tag, my thinking is that the issue is now covered on the article's Talk page and that is sufficient, especially if Faizanmqs and the other single-purpose editors refrain from editing the article in the future. I leave the decision to you. David notMD (talk) 14:06, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm still around, just quiet lately. Feel free to remove at your discretion. I'll keep an eye on it and re-add if some of our COI folks add content. PureRED | talk to me | 15:49, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I have further trimmed the article and removed both tags. Editors with COI should no longer edit the article directly. Instead, they should propose changes in new sections at Talk. David notMD (talk) 21:20, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
