From Schlachtfest

A Schlachtfest is the German term for the ritual or ceremonial slaughter of an animal, which is often followed by festive meal.

So this just does not compile. If you disagree, I'd be glad to read your arguments.

I'm really not very fussed by this, but would be interested to understand the difference between the categories "Meals" and "Eating parties". For example, Christmas dinner is under a subcat of "Meals" and Cocktail party is what I would call a "drinks party" if anything, albeit nibbles are usually served. I've never heard of an "eating party" (sounds like a tautology!). --Bermicourt (talk) 16:34, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
