Scouting Mid‑importance

	Scouting portal Scout Association of Ireland is part of the Scouting WikiProject, an effort to build a comprehensive and detailed guide to Scouting and Guiding on the Wikipedia. WOSM member

I still say this somehow belongs as WOSM member association, as it went into the creation of the current one. Chris 17:01, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The successor organisation (Scouting Ireland) is a WOSM member and therefore SAI belongs under the WOSM banner. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.148.84.121 (talk) 10:58, 12 October 2013 (UTC) "In 1968, the SAI became a co-educational association." This is wrong. In 1968 the Boy Scouts of Ireland conducted a review of the association similar to the Advance Party Report of the UK Scout Association. The name changed to the Scout Association of Ireland, there were uniform changes as well as a new badge programme.
