split

[edit]

Eleassar, what is the point of splitting the salt pans from the nature park? Is there a significant discrepancy between the area of the nature park and the area of the salt pans? If not, then they should be in the same article, because they're really talking about the same thing. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 11:34, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The park covers both the salt pans and the Seča peninsula, and it emphasises the protection of the natural heritage over the protection of the cultural heritage (see e.g. pg.39). If anything, the park could be merged here, but I think the articles should remain separate, as both the salt pans and the peninsula could (and hopefully would) eventually have their own articles, as there is no lack of content.[1] --Eleassar my talk 12:57, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
