Thanks for reviewing this article, and for the feedback. I've reduced it by about 20%, with attention to the specifics that were overly detailed, and I've deleted promotional parts. The difficulty in working with sources that are often comprised of interviews with a CEO is that the content can be promotional, even if the tone is not overtly promotional. I appreciate your skeptical eye, and I think this article is stronger for your input.

Would you mind taking another look, and letting me know if it is still too detailed or promotional, please?

Removed the tags. Not appropriate for the content of this article which is pretty well written. There are some minor style issues which I intend to correct. Additionally, I would recommend nominating this article for GA status WP:GAN as that will bring some new eyes to it and help improve it from a prose standpoint. Running assessment on sourcing[edit]

Jacob Nist obit in Seattle Star (#1) does not support cited sentence. I suspect this content is in source #2 (Seattle PI) --Mike Cline (talk) 17:14, 17 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This content By 1888, Nist and sons were all working at the Seattle Lumber and Commercial Company, which was operating the mill 20 hours per day, even adding a new box factory. is not supported by the source (History of Seattle).
