Huge list of names and art projects[edit]

This page is incredibly bulky with the names of all of the artists. I understand it's nice to be on the list here, but should they be broken up (if even included) except for a select few (notable pieces or award winners)? Mktacoma (talk) 19:25, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. It's bulky, unreadable and not really that useful to have all those artists listed out. Perhaps we can collapse the long lists by default? Or break some of the information into different articles? Certainly we should only highlight/show the winners or notable people by default. 87Fan (talk) 15:53, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There are Wikipedia policies against this. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information - see WP:INDISCRIMINATE and other notes on that article about what Wikipedia is not. Also, external links to individual artists should not be included - see WP:EXTERNAL. I just removed almost all the listees. Yes, I do think that if there are a few highlights or notable people at these events then they should be featured in this article, especially if those people meet WP:NOTABILITY and have their own Wikipedia articles.
